The challenge was to give an internationally award-winning architecture studio a digital presence as sculptural, precise and considered as the buildings it designs — without letting the site compete with the work itself.
Challenge & Solution
ONUS Architecture Studio designs high-end residential and hospitality projects rooted in landscape, material honesty and environmental performance. Every project is shaped by site, climate and a careful architectural language — but the studio's digital presence wasn't yet communicating that same level of intention.
Project Goals
The primary objective was to create a website that would:
- Present ONUS as a sculptural, award-winning studio operating internationally, not just locally in Greece
- Give large-format project photography room to breathe without visual clutter
- Make it easy to browse residential and hospitality projects by type, material approach or location
- Communicate the studio’s sustainability and bioclimatic design philosophy as a core strength, not a footnote
- Centralise awards, press features and international recognition in one credible, easy-to-scan destination
- Support the studio’s founder, Margarita Kyanidou, as a visible, authoritative voice in the practice
- Create a scalable structure for adding new projects, awards and press coverage over time
- Strengthen inbound enquiries from high-end residential and hospitality clients
Our Approach
For an architecture studio, the website has to behave like a gallery, not a brochure.
We built the experience around large, uninterrupted imagery and a quiet, confident typographic system — letting projects like Horizon House, Crossed Lines and Trine Nests carry the story with minimal interference. Structure and hierarchy were used deliberately: project entry points that read cleanly at a glance, dedicated space for the studio’s sustainability and material philosophy, and a clear home for awards and press that reinforces credibility without feeling like a trophy case.
Rather than treating “residential,” “hospitality” and “sustainability” as separate messages, the site weaves them together the way ONUS’s own projects do — form, place and environmental performance presented as one continuous idea. The navigation and content architecture were built to scale, so new projects, awards and press mentions can be added without disrupting the visual calm the studio depends on.
The outcome is a site that feels architectural in its own right: precise, unhurried and built to let the work speak first.
Result Driven
The new digital presence gives ONUS Architecture Studio a platform that matches its international recognition — from the Architizer A+ Awards to features in Archello, designboom and AD Greece.
Projects, sustainability philosophy and studio credibility now live within one cohesive experience, positioning ONUS as a serious contender for high-end residential and hospitality commissions both in Greece and abroad.
The result is a refined, scalable website that lets award-winning architecture lead the conversation — while giving prospective clients and press a clear, credible way to understand the studio behind it.
