When we started Core Concepts, the work was simple to describe: design a brand, build a website, launch it. Over time, and over thousands of projects, we learned that launch day is where the real questions begin.
Why is a beautifully designed site getting no calls? Why does a competitor with a weaker offer rank above you? Why do visitors leave before the page has even loaded?
One small fix at a time
We answered those questions one client at a time. A missing heading here, a 4MB photo slowing every phone there, a Google Business Profile that was never claimed, a competitor quietly collecting backlinks for years. Individually, they were small fixes. Across 3,000 projects, they became a map of the most common problems.
What consulting taught us
Our years in corporate consulting added something else. Working on transformation programmes for global banks and technology companies taught us that insight only matters when it's measurable and prioritised. A finding without evidence is just an opinion, and a list without priorities is just noise.
For a long time, that level of analysis was something only larger companies could afford. It took senior people days to gather the data, compare competitors and turn it all into a plan.
Where AI fits
AI changed that equation, but only because we had something to give it.
Our team of 11 spent this year turning 14 years of pattern recognition into a system. It combines premium data sources like Google's own performance testing and verified search, ranking and backlink data. It uses AI where it adds value: understanding a market, reading competitors page by page, and turning hundreds of data points into a clear, readable plan. The measurements stay with the data, and the judgement comes from experience.
The Digital Growth Audit
The result is the Digital Growth Audit. It covers thirteen areas and compares you against the four businesses that actually outrank you, with every finding showing how it was measured and what to fix first. It takes about ten minutes.
What used to take our team days is now available to any business, whatever its size.
That feels like the right way to mark 14 years.
If you're curious what it finds for your business, we're opening it to the first 20 companies at no cost: see the Digital Growth Audit.
